Backup plan step 7: Backrest is now connected to R2 with a nightly plan.

Repo r2-foundry: restic repo initialized on foundry-backups (restic 0.19.1, id 3c4c35e06c…). Secrets came from 1Password over ssh stdin, never echoed or written to disk. Prune Saturdays 04:00 (off parity night); check monthly with a 5% data read.
Plan foundry: /userdata/appdata + /userdata/backups + /userdata/flash, daily 02:00, retention 7 daily / 4 weekly / 6 monthly. Excludes raw Postgres dirs (the dumps cover them), Plex cache/drivers, ollama models, logs/cache dirs, Backrest's own appdata, and dumps/previous.
Verified: Backrest scheduled backup 2026-10-23 02:00, prune 2026-10-24 04:00, check 2026-11-01. A dry run gives about 8.1 GiB stored (32,668 files, scanned in 28 s). Last night's scheduled dumps ran on their own (2 pg + 19 SQLite, no failures).
Tracker: step 0 is at 7 of 10; NEXT is step 8 (confirm the first snapshot + restore test).

Restic repo r2-foundry initialized on R2 (restic 0.19.1). Plan "foundry"
backs up appdata, the backups share and the flash config daily at 02:00,
with 7/4/6 retention, prune on Saturdays and a monthly 5% data check.
Raw Postgres dirs, caches, logs and Backrest's own appdata are excluded.
Dry run: about 8.1 GiB stored. The first real snapshot is scheduled for
2026-10-23 02:00. Tracker NEXT moves to step 8 (confirm + restore test).
